As part of its ongoing humanitarian operation to alleviate the deteriorating humanitarian situation in northern Gaza, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has deployed the biggest convoy of water tankers through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, to bring relief to the region. The action would tackle the severe water crisis due to the lack of drinking water, which has become one of the primary issues of thousands of displaced Palestinians.
The massive project is an indication of the strong will of the UAE to assist civilians who are conflict-afflicted or displaced. The UAE aims to bring quick relief to the population by means of the provision of clean and safe drinking water in the regions where infrastructure and water systems were severely destroyed. Combined with the continued displacement, this destruction has left a number of families unable to afford even their most basic daily requirements.
