The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has recently posted the advertisement of 200 Junior Executives (Data Entry Operators) throughout Karachi and interior Sindh. This action is part of the expansion plan by NADRA to enhance service delivery by registration and identification of both urban and rural citizens.
The official statement suggests that hiring will be conducted in five districts of Karachi and nine districts of interior Sindh, with the process of walk-in interviews starting on November 3, 2025. This is one of the bigger steps in an effort to improve the level and accessibility of the NADRA services within the province.
NADRA will also purchase land in some of the districts to set up new regional offices to support this expansion. The suggested areas are Mirpurkhas, Mirpur Sakro, Kotri, Matiari, Chachro, Jhuddo, Mirpur Tharro, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Thatta and Sujawal. Such new offices will see the citizens using the NADRA facilities in a convenient manner without having to commute long distances.

People who wish to apply to these jobs should have an Intermediate qualification and the age has been fixed to 25 years. The new recruitment initiative is expected to broaden the NADRA scope as well as providing young people in the country with jobs especially in the underprivileged areas.
According to the NADRA officials, this initiative is in line with the attempt by the government to enhance service delivery, digital registration and transparency in Pakistan. NADRA has recently also introduced a nationwide digital birth and death registration system, by which hospitals and health centers have the opportunity to electronically register cases.
NADRA is still modernizing its activities under the guidance of the interior minister Mohsin Naqvi under the National Biometric and Registration Policy Framework, which was approved by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in January 2025.
