The qualification of the Pakistan Hockey World Cup 2026 has officially been announced by the international hockey federation (FIH). The qualification tournaments will take place in Chile, India and Egypt.
Chile is going to host both men’s events as well as women and India will host only qualifying matches of women. The men’s team of Pakistan will participate in Egypt.
Pakistan to Play Qualifiers in Egypt
Pakistan will participate in the men’s qualifying round of Pakistan Hockey World Cup 2026 in Egypt in March 1- 7 in Ismailia.
Some of the powerful teams will participate in this tournament alongside Pakistan and they include:
- Egypt
- England
- Malaysia
- Japan
- Austria
- China
- United States
These matches will decide which teams move closer to the World Cup.
Pakistan Placed in Group B
Pakistan will be included in Group B as per the qualifiers timetable of the Pakistan Hockey World Cup 2026 and as such, it will be playing with China, Malaysia and Austria.

How Teams Will Qualify for Hockey World Cup 2026
Under the Pakistan Hockey World Cup 2026 qualifiers schedule, two men’s qualifying tournaments will be held. From each tournament:
- Top 3 teams qualify directly
- Best fourth-placed team overall also qualifies
Hockey World Cup 2026 Host and Teams
In August 2026 in Belgium and the Netherlands, the 2026 World Hockey will be hosted in London. There will be 16 teams that will fight the tournament.
