The Punjab government has resolved to initiate new hires in the Crime Control Department (CCD) in order to firm up law enforcement in the province.
As per the official sources, Punjab Police has drawn up a recruitment summary and submitted the same to the Home Department seeking its approval. One thousand new jobs will be occupied in the Crime Control Department once the approval is given.
Recruitment plan involves the recruitment of personnel to occupy the positions of constable and driver constable. Such new officers will assist in enhancing crime monitoring, investigation, and safety of the people in various parts of Punjab.
The Home Department has then sent the summary to be finally approved by the Chief Minister of Punjab, after going through the proposal. The recruiting process will start as soon as the CM signs off.
New Jobs to Strengthen Punjab Police
The CCD is very crucial in checking the activities of criminals and ensuring that the province is peaceful. Hiring additional workers, Punjab Police attempts to enhance its operational capacity and efficiency in crime response.
This step will also result in young candidates seeking to join the law enforcement and serve the people finding employment.

Currently, the government is yet to specify the actual date of application. Candidates should keep in touch with the official Punjab Police and government websites in case of future notifications on eligibility, examinations and selection process.
