Eid ul Fitr is all about family meals, parties and above all feasts of festivities. In order to ensure that your cooking during your holiday does not go chaotic, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) officially announced a special gas supply program during the upcoming Eid holidays.
To make the preparations of the festivals a smooth process among households, SSGC is guaranteeing continuous supply throughout most important times of the year and consistent pressure within its system. The following is the detailed day-wise schedule of the gas availability during the Eid holidays.
The Official Eid ul Fitr Gas Schedule
SSGC has adjusted its standard load management to give consumers maximum relief during the peak days of celebration.
Chand Raat and 1 st day of Eid: Happy news to the houses! Gas supply will be fully continuous from Chand Raat till the first day of Eid up to 12:00 AM (midnight).
2nd Day of Eid: Gas supply will be done on a regular basis all day. It will actually only be suspended late at night between 12:00 AM and 6: 00 AM.
3rd Day of Eid: The supply will start early in the morning at 6:00 AM and then will not decrease till midnight (12:00 AM).
4th Day of Eid: On the last day of the holiday program, gas will be supplied between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
On the frustrating factor of low gas pressure in the process of cooking, it was confirmed by SSGC management that they have engaged all the technical leads to abide by the line pack such that there is constant pressure on the distribution network during the holidays.

To prevent the frustrating issue of low gas pressure while you cook, SSGC management confirmed that they have taken all necessary technical measures to maintain the “line pack,” ensuring stable pressure across the distribution network throughout the holidays.
Post-Eid Gas Load Management
Enjoy the uninterrupted supply while it lasts, because the relief is only temporary. SSGC has clarified that once the Eid holidays conclude, the regular load management schedule will be strictly restored.
Starting March 24, gas supply will once again be suspended daily from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM across the network.
Will there be gas load shedding on Chand Raat and the first day of Eid?
No. SSGC has confirmed that gas will be supplied completely uninterrupted from Chand Raat through the entire first day of Eid until midnight.
What are the gas timings for the 2nd and 3rd days of Eid?
On the 2nd day, gas will be available all day and suspended only from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. On the 3rd day, it will resume at 6:00 AM and remain available until midnight.
When does the normal gas load shedding schedule resume?
The regular load management schedule will be restored on March 24, 2026. Under this routine, gas will be suspended daily from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
