The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has released the finalized revised dates for Matriculation and Class IX Group-II exams which were also not announced completely due to interruption. This is great news for thousands of students, parents and educators who had been waiting for news on the revised schedule for their academic program to reopen.
Revised Examination Date and Timing
According to the formal notification released by the board authorities, the papers that were originally set to take place on May 6, 2026, have been rescheduled.

The change has been confirmed by chairs President BISE Faisalabad and Faisalabad Division commissioner, Musarrat Jabeen, as they stated that the change will be applicable to all candidates of Faisalabad division. Students will be asked to appear at the same centre(s) in which they appeared before for their earlier exams; the venues are not changing because of the date shift.
Important Note on Roll Number Slips
The board has announced that no new roll number slips will be issued as there would be administrative delays and it would facilitate the students. Students are allowed to enter into the examination hall with the roll no slip issued earlier.
In order to get a successful start to the paper, students have been advised to come to their respective centres in advance of the time of paper publishing (2:00 PM). It is the responsibility of all candidates to observe very closely the rules of behaviour and examination as laid down by the board.
Administrative Readiness and Transparency
The BISE Faisalabad administration has announced that it will be able to keep the examinations a fair, peaceful and organised affair. The monitoring teams are informed of keeping the examination process proper, which is being kept in mind.
Parents and educational institution’s heads are encouraged to inform students about the revised timetable as soon as possible so that there won’t be any kind of confusion on exam day. Government stakeholders can check Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab or the Punjab Portal for updates and educational policies on a broader scale throughout the province.

The exam has come to be on Monday 11 May and the students will have some additional days to revise. In general, it is recommended to:
Check the subject and group timing on the original time slip.
Look through previous Question Papers and the policies of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB)
Prepare all stationary and the original roll number slip, one night before.
