The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has released the roll number slips of annual exams 2026 for intermediate Part 2 (12th Class). The pupils take this important step as it’s the entry slip to the examination room and gives important information about exam centres and time.
Examination Statistics and Logistics
BISE Lahore Chairman Tahir Javed said that a huge number of 192,337 candidates will appear in the exams this year. There are 60 students in total and their distribution is as follows:
- Regular Students: Over 137,000
- Private Candidates: 54,734
For this huge number of students and to make it transparent, the board has allotted 566 examination centres throughout Lahore and its neighbouring districts. Assessment processes are well monitored and secure to ensure the integrity of the assessment process.
How to Download BISE Lahore Roll Number Slip 2026
The process for obtaining the slip depends on whether you are a regular or a private student.
1. For Regular Students
Regular students do not need to download their slips individually from the public portal. Rather, they have access to the board’s institutional portal through their colleges and higher secondary schools. Students are suggested to go to their Administration Office of the institution and take the printed, stamped and signed roll number slips.
2. For Private Candidates
Private candidates can download their slips directly from the official board website. To do this, visit the BISE Lahore Official Website and enter one of the following:
- Candidate’s Admission Form Number
- Current Roll Number (if known)
- Previous Roll Number
- Full Name and Father’s Name (exactly as written on the admission form)
Exam Schedule and Critical Instructions
The exam for Intermediate Part II will commence from 20th May 2026 onwards. Based on the best interests of its students, the board spokesperson has proposed the following guidelines:
Time: Be at the examination centre 30- to 45 minutes before the paper begins.
Documentation: Make sure that the original roll number slip has a clear photograph attached.
Identification: Always have a copy of your CNIC or B-Form with you for identification.
Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) is also able to provide students with further updates and information on educational policies or curricula.
The Intermediate exams are important exams in a student’s life. It is necessary to have a roll number slip ahead of time, to avoid any hassles in the last minutes. After you have it, double-check your subjects while also taking note of where your center is located, and where you are going.
