Mere Humsafar
Mere Humsafar is a character, which is in the name of a generation of Pakistani television sets. She’s playing Hala, a girl who was left behind by her dad and treated badly by her relatives. However, her life goes sour when her cousin Hamza (Farhan Saeed) returns from abroad and becomes her protector.
It was a drama which made Hania an international star. She plays the traumatised, but hopeful Hala, and it’s heart-wrenching. The Nick-Hala duo went viral in South Asia and the Middle East.

Ishqiya
Hania’s Ishqiya is the cheerful and energetic Romaisa (Roomi), a girl opposite her sister in the quietness. The revenge plot is the focus of the first half, and it’s Roomi’s strength that becomes the focus of the second half.
Hania’s rendition here is a master class in transitions. She is a rather funny and playful character until she is deceived and then becomes a woman of great dignity and strength.
Anaa
Set in the beautiful valleys of Chitral, the film’s main character, Hania plays Daneen, a rebellious and free-spirited girl who is determined not to follow the strict family rules.
This drama has been remembered for its beauty and the chemistry between Hania and Shehzad Sheikh. It deals with the themes of family ego (Anaa) and the potential for this to ruin lives. Hania also lended her voice to this drama OST, giving a glimpse of her singing abilities.
Sang-e-Mah
Departing from typical urban romances, Sang-e-Mah takes place in the tribal areas of Pakistan. Hania portrays Gul Meena, a traditional and fierce girl who is caught in the midst of blood feuds and old traditions.
It’s an ensemble gem with Atif Aslam & Nauman Ijaz. Hania’s acting is grounded, authentic and she can handle ‘prestige TV’ as well as commercial hits. It is about the very cruel high tribal law.
Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha
Hania is portraying Maheer, a girl who has fallen into a sorry love affair with her cousin Saad (Wahaj Ali) and wealthy Areeb (Zaviyar Nauman).
It is very melodramatic but the visuals and the viral ‘OST’ (by Kaifi khalil) was a bomb. Hania is the perfect characterisation of the woman torn between her heart and family’s honour.
