International travelers and tour lovers with Pakistani nationality are happy with the news. More or less, the ranking of the Pakistani passport has been stabilized after the most recent publication of the global passenger Index in May 2026, where it was ranked as 98th among the world countries. Today, over 30 countries worldwide offer visas on arrival (VOA) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) for passport holders to enter their countries without visa applications from overseas embassies.
Knowing the classification and immigration entry regulations will make summer vacation and business travel smooth sailing this month.

4 Mandatory Travel Requirements to Avoid Airport Rejection
Knowing which countries don’t need an embassy visa sticker isn’t enough. The 4 supporting items are to be presented physically at the immigration counters of FIA at Pakistani airports:
Passport Validity: Your machine-readable or e-passport must be in good condition, and have an expiration date at least 6 months beyond the length of your travel.
Confirmed Return Ticket: Valid and paid return ticket to Pakistan is required. Boarding passes will be denied to outbound travelers with only one-way tickets to VOA zones.
Pre-arranged hotel booking: A confirmed hotel booking voucher is required for the whole duration of the stay or a notarized invitation letter by a legal resident host from the destination country.
Sufficient Financial Proof (Show Money): You must have enough money with you in one of the following forms to cover your living expenses for the day — in International Credit Card or Cash (US Dollar). In high demand countries like Qatar, and Maldives, the average rate ranges from $50 to $100 a day.
Check the specified time frames for passport renewals, the updated exit procedures, and fast-track fees on official portals of Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (DGIP) or Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
