President of the Pakistan PM on International Diplomacy and Coordination of Peace and Affairs Dr. Mohammad Shahib has awarded the prestigious Nishan-e-Imtiaz one of the highest civilian awards of Pakistan to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr. António Guterres in a significant gesture.In a major development in the field of international diplomacy and peace coordination President Asif Ali Zardari has awarded the prestigious Nishan-e-Imtiaz highest civilian honour of Pakistan to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr. António Guterres. The investiture ceremony in Islamabad has paved the way from bilateral institutional aid to a system vetted global governance sandbox where for the first time Pakistan has bestowed this award on a sitting UN chief. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and high-level cabinet managers attended the executive assembly to reinforce national public relations indices.
During the tazuiraty (strategic) briefing the President locked in Pakistan’s absolute stance regarding regional telemetry emphasizing that durable peace requires resolved disputes under UN resolutions particularly concerning Jammu and Kashmir.He made it clear that the Indus Waters Treaty is an internationally binding document and can never be suspended by any one. He also warned that water should never be used as a political lever.
