All the nine educational boards in Punjab have officially announced the Punjab Boards Matric and Inter Exam Schedule 2026 which is utilized to administer annual exams. The timeframe can be applied to the regular and additional exams and to all boards of the province.
As per the official notification, the Matric exam dates had to be rescheduled to the holy month of Ramadan, and the students had more time to prepare before examinations began.
Matric Exam Dates and Results
Annual examinations of Matric (Class 9 and 10) will begin now on the 27th of March, 2026 rather than on the initially scheduled March 3 date. In Punjab boards have voted to move the exams to ensure that they do not conflict with Ramadan.
Matric results shall be announced on August 6, 2026. In the meantime, Class 9 outcomes will be available on September 2, so the students will be able to make their plans in terms of their academic future.
Intermediate Exam Schedule
The annual Intermediate (Class 11 and 12) exams will begin from May 20, 2026 across Punjab. Students appearing in First Year and Second Year will follow the same provincial schedule.
The First Year (Part-I) results will be announced on August 22, while the complete Intermediate results are set for September 23, 2026.
Supplementary Exams Timeline
Board exams on supplementary exams have also been shared in Punjab boards. The examinations will begin on October 6, and the results will be issued on December 8, 2026.
In the case of Intermediate students, the additional exams will commence on the 3rd of November and the outcomes will be announced on the 12 th of January 2027.
Such a uniformity will assist students in the entire state of Punjab to get ready and be aware of their school schedules.
