Student strength of Lahore and other districts has been given a boost with the Punjab government officially introducing Phase 2 of the Chief Ministers Laptop Distribution Scheme which seeks to equip students with the latest digital tools. This new stage is concurrent with the current Phase 1 distribution to make the most of reach and efficiency.
Based on the official sources, the second phase will see 60,000 students getting brand-new laptops in a schedule that was announced in advance. The initiative belongs to the larger education plan of encouraging research and digital literacy across the province.
Phase 1 will proceed to deliver the distribution to Phase 2 which will be launched but initially the targets are to deliver laptops to 100,000 learners.
