The official announcement of UET Lahore Associate Degrees for Fall 2026 has opened up a new and accessible path for students aiming at fundamental tech-focused careers. The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has revealed that it has introduced three different types of Associate Degree Programs (ADP) of two years duration. It is a highly subsidized fee structure computing framework which offers a financial relief to qualified applicants to avail these technical courses.
Available Tracks and Institutional Locations
The new admission session for computing technology is divided into three hot fields in three prominent educational campuses of UET:
Computer Science: Taught at UET Main Campus & UET AIML Cyber Security Extension Campus at Model Town.
Data Science: This is a specialised course and only taught in the main campus of UET Lahore.
Artificial Intelligence: 100% based at the Model Town Extension Institute premises.
Reviewing the UET Lahore Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to follow the mandatory eligibility criteria of UET Lahore before filling the registration form on the digital portal. Only those who have valid Punjab domicile will be allowed to enter the campus as baseline; specific exemptions will be designated in the university.
Students are required to have the following academic prerequisites:
Minimum Marks: Candidate should have 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent certified qualification.
Acceptable Streams: FSC Pre-Engineering, FSC Pre-Medical, ICS and General Intermediate (Maths/Stats/Physics/Computer Science).
Quota Allocations: Under the Minority Quota, which is a formal quota, seats are allocated to non-Muslim applicants based on the guidelines laid down by the state.
How to Calculate Academic Admission Merit
The university will use a weighted formula, based on marks from previous university records, to determine a student’s academic admission merit automatically:
Intermediate Part-I & Matric: 75% of the weightage is given to the marks obtained in Intermediate Part-I and 25% to Matric marks.
A-Level Candidates: The Merits are based on the authorized IBCC equivalence certificate score awarded based on the performance in the O-Level exams.
DAE Candidates: Diploma of Associate Engineering students are allocated with 100% merit weightage of the combined marks from 1st & 2nd year.

Attach digitized certificates of Matriculation, Intermediate Part-I result card and Punjab domicile.
Download the fee challan generated by the system and pay the fees with Rs. 3,000 application fee. All submissions are submitted for multiple eligible programs with a single fee. Please submit the form electronically before the final deadline on November 24, 2026 – couriers are not accepted.
