How Pakistanis Can Get an e-Visa for Turkiye

If you’re a Pakistani thinking of visiting Turkiye  maybe for a short vacation or to attend a meeting — there is a chance you won’t even need to go to the embassy. That is because Turkey offers something called an e-Visa. It is quick, you apply online, and the whole thing takes just a few minutes if you have got the right stuff.

Who Can Apply for Turkiye e-Visa

Now here is the thing that not every Pakistani passport holder can apply. 

You must already have a valid visa or residency from one of these countries:

• USA
  
• UK
  
• Ireland
  
• Schengen countries (Europe)
  

Without one of these, you’ll have to apply through the Turkish embassy or visa center.

Documents Required for e-Visa (for Pakistanis)

• Valid Pakistani passport (at least 6 months valid)
  
• Valid visa or residence permit from US, UK, Ireland, or Schengen area
  
• Valid return ticket
  
• Hotel booking confirmation
  
• Credit or debit card for payment
  
• A valid email address
  

How to Apply for Turkey e-Visa (Online Process)

1. Go to the official website:
   https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/
   
2. Select your country and travel document:
   
   • Country: Pakistan
     
   • Travel document: Ordinary Passport
     
3. Check eligibility and proceed
   
4. Fill in your travel details:
   
   • Arrival date
     
   • Passport information
     
   • Personal details
     
5. Upload visa/residence permit (if required)
   
6. Pay the visa fee online using your debit/credit card
   (Around $60 USD – may vary)
   
7. Download your e-Visa from the confirmation email
   

Processing Time of Turkiye e-Visa

• Usually within 30 minutes to 24 hours
  
• e-Visa is sent directly to your email as a PDF file
  

Turkiye e-Visa Validity and Duration

• Single-entry visa
  
• Valid for 180 days
  
• You can stay in Turkey for up to 30 days during that period
  

Who Cannot Apply for Turkiye e-Visa?

You cannot apply online if you:

• Don’t have a valid visa/residence permit from US/UK/Schengen/Ireland
  
• Are planning to work or study in Turkey
  
• Have an official or diplomatic passport
  

In that case, apply via the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad or Karachi.
