The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has launched the on-line application system for the prestigious Moroccan Government Scholarship for Pakistanis (2026–27). Managed by Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), this fully funded scholarship offers 10 exclusive scholarships to students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) who have ambitious plans.
The deadline for submission of online application via HEC is 10th June 2026.
Moroccan Government Scholarship Benefits
This award will remove the financial obstacles associated with studying abroad and will cover a complete financial package:
Selected scholars are awarded a monthly stipend of 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). This equates to about (PKR) 20,000 for the normal expenses of a student.
100% Tuition Waived: All Academic Registration and Tuition fees covered at all Public Universities in Morocco.
Free Accommodation: Accommodation in a University dormitory or in an accommodation complex designed for students is provided free of charge.
Air Travel: One-way ticket given at the time of departure and return ticket given as soon as the student graduates.
Comprehensive Medical Care: Public healthcare systems and institutional medical insurance.
Moroccan Government Scholarship General Eligibility Criteria
To successfully advance through the initial HEC vetting phase, candidates must fulfill these objective criteria:
1. Nationality Restrictions
- Must hold a valid Pakistani or AJK passport and permanent residency.
- Dual nationality holders are completely ineligible to apply.
2. Academic Pathways and Age Requirements
- Undergraduate Degrees (BS): Requires 12 years of completed education (FSc or A-Level equivalent). Candidates must be between 19 and 23 years old. A valid USAT score is mandatory.
- Master’s Degrees (MS/MPhil): Requires a minimum of 16 years of relevant educational background. A valid HAT score is mandatory.
- Doctoral Degrees (PhD): Requires 18 years of higher education in a corresponding subject line. A valid HAT score is mandatory.
3. Language Prerequisites
- English Language: In most scientific and technical faculties the English language is the prevailing medium of instruction. See university and program requirements.
- Arabic Language: Subject areas such as Islamic Studies and Arabic Literature demand a high level of proficiency in the Arabic language.

Applying for this international award is conducted entirely online. Hard copies do not need to be physically dispatched to the HEC offices during this phase.

If you are officially nominated by HEC, you must quickly compile a physical application portfolio featuring:
